9. Your Rights Under GDPR
Your data protection rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, data protection laws give you certain rights in relation to your personal data. At .git, we are committed to respecting and facilitating the exercise of these rights.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information about how we process it, who it is shared with, and how long we retain it.
✏️ Right to Rectification (Article 16)
If any of your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or complete it without undue delay.
🗑️ Right to Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Article 17)
In certain circumstances, you may request the deletion of your personal data. This applies when the data is no longer necessary, you withdraw consent, or processing is unlawful, subject to legal retention obligations.
🛑 Right to Restriction of Processing (Article 18)
You may request that we temporarily or permanently limit the way we process your personal data, such as when you contest its accuracy or object to processing.
📦 Right to Data Portability (Article 20)
You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another controller where technically feasible.
⚖️ Right to Object (Article 21)
You may object to the processing of your personal data where it is based on legitimate interests or public task. If processing is for direct marketing, you have an absolute right to object at any time.
🤖 Rights Regarding Automated Decision-Making & Profiling (Article 22)
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use automated decision-making for such purposes.
