📡 The "CyberSpace" Web Ring (1996-1999)
We've successfully reconstructed the complete navigation structure of the defunct "CyberSpace" WebRing, a community of 42 interconnected hobbyist sites focused on retro computing and ASCII art. Using our frame-layout parser, we've preserved the original JavaScript navigation scripts, MIDI autoplay triggers, and visitor counter animations.
These rings represent a unique era of web culture where community curation replaced algorithmic discovery. We're currently indexing their guestbook archives for historical research.
🛠️ Netscape Navigator 3.0 Rendering Patch v2.1
Our emulation layer now correctly handles non-standard CSS properties common in late-90s layouts, including deprecated font tags, table-based spacing hacks, and early PNG transparency fallbacks. This update ensures that 94% of archived pages render identically to their original 1998 state.
We've also added support for archiving Flash-animated cursors and animated GIF marquee loops without modern browser compression artifacts.
