Permitted Use & Restrictions

Last Updated: October 15, 2025 | Version 2.1

1. Introduction

Welcome to Admin. This Permitted Use & Restrictions policy outlines the acceptable practices, limitations, and compliance requirements for accessing and utilizing our platform, software, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Admin Platform"). By registering, accessing, or using the Admin Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

This policy supplements the Master Services Agreement and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, the Master Services Agreement shall prevail, except where specific regulatory requirements mandate otherwise.

2. Permitted Uses

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Admin Platform strictly for lawful business purposes as outlined below:

  • Internal Business Operations: Utilizing the platform to manage workflows, analytics, team collaboration, and administrative tasks for your organization.
  • Authorized Personnel: Granting access to employees, contractors, or agents who have a legitimate business need and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Commercial Deployment: Leveraging Admin’s features to support your commercial activities, provided usage remains within the limits of your subscribed plan.
  • API & Integration Usage: Accessing Admin’s public APIs solely for technical integration, data synchronization, and authorized third-party service connectivity, in compliance with rate limits and developer guidelines.

📌 Note: Permitted use does not extend to sharing login credentials, sub-licensing platform access, or modifying the service infrastructure without explicit written consent from Admin.

3. Restricted & Prohibited Uses

To ensure platform integrity, security, and fair usage, the following actions are strictly prohibited. Violation may result in immediate suspension, termination, and legal action:

  • Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to derive source code, algorithms, or underlying architecture of the Admin Platform.
  • Unauthorized Resale or Redistribution: Selling, leasing, sub-licensing, or offering Admin services to third parties without a formal partnership or enterprise agreement.
  • Security Circumvention: Bypassing authentication, encryption, access controls, or rate-limiting mechanisms; using the platform to launch attacks, scrape data, or harvest information.
  • Malicious or Illegal Activity: Using the platform to facilitate fraud, malware distribution, harassment, or any activity violating applicable laws or regulations.
  • Brand Misrepresentation: Implying sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with Admin without prior written authorization.
  • Excessive Automated Access: Deploying bots, crawlers, or scripts that exceed documented API quotas or disrupt service stability.

4. Licensing & Intellectual Property

Admin retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including all software, designs, trademarks, documentation, and proprietary methodologies. Your license to use the Platform does not constitute a transfer of ownership.

You agree to:

  • Maintain all copyright, trademark, and proprietary notices as provided.
  • Refrain from removing, obscuring, or altering any attribution or legal notices embedded in the Platform.
  • Notify Admin promptly of any suspected unauthorized use or infringement affecting your account.

Any feedback, suggestions, or modifications submitted to Admin may be used, modified, and distributed by Admin without restriction or compensation.

5. Data Handling & Compliance

While Admin is committed to data security, permitted use requires you to adhere to strict data governance standards:

  • Data Ownership: You retain ownership of your input data. Admin claims no ownership but requires a limited license to process, store, and transmit data solely for service delivery.
  • Compliance Obligations: You are responsible for ensuring that data uploaded or processed through the Platform complies with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA (where applicable), and other relevant privacy frameworks.
  • Security Responsibilities: Implement reasonable safeguards, including MFA, access controls, and regular credential rotation. Report data breaches or security incidents to Admin within 72 hours.

6. Enforcement & Remedies

Admin reserves the right to monitor usage patterns, audit account activity, and enforce this policy without prior notice. Upon detection of restricted or prohibited use, we may:

  • Issue a formal warning or compliance directive.
  • Temporarily restrict access or throttle API requests.
  • Terminate the service immediately without refund for material breaches.
  • Pursue legal remedies, including injunctive relief and monetary damages, where applicable.

Enforcement actions will be documented and communicated to the account administrator. Disputes regarding policy enforcement will be resolved per the dispute resolution clauses in the Master Services Agreement.
