Methodology & Scope
Our reports follow standardized reporting frameworks. Learn how data is collected, verified, and published.
How are metrics calculated?
All metrics are aggregated directly from our internal compliance dashboard and AI moderation logs. Legal request counts reflect only actionable notices received. Removal counts include both full deletions and substantial revisions. Data is verified by our independent audit committee before publication.
What is excluded from reports?
Reports exclude routine spam filters, automated bot blocks, and internal editorial drafts. Classified government requests are acknowledged but redacted per legal guidelines. User privacy data is never disclosed.
How often are reports updated?
We publish quarterly reports within 30 days of each quarter's close. Annual summaries are released by February 28. Ad hoc reports may be issued for major policy shifts or system-wide incidents.
Independent verification process
Each report undergoes third-party validation by a rotating panel of academic researchers and digital rights advocates. Verification certificates are appended to the final PDF and stored on our public integrity ledger.
