About DORA Metrics
Based on the DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) framework, these four metrics measure software delivery performance and operational reliability.
🚀 Deployment Frequency
How often an organization successfully releases to production. Higher frequency indicates mature CI/CD practices and smaller batch sizes.
⏱️ Lead Time for Changes
The elapsed time from code commit to that code running in production. Measures the speed of the delivery pipeline.
🛠️ Time to Restore Service
How long it takes to restore service after a failure or incident in production. Reflects operational resilience and incident response maturity.
📉 Change Failure Rate
The percentage of deployments causing a failure in production (requiring rollback, hotfix, or patch). Lower is better.
