Who owns and controls Aevum Encyclopedia?

Aevum is operated as a mission-driven independent entity. Day-to-day operations are managed by our Executive Directorate, while editorial and governance authority rests with our globally-elected Editorial Board and independent Oversight Committee.

Is premium access required to read articles?

Absolutely not. The entire encyclopedia remains free and open to all readers. Premium offerings are strictly limited to institutional API access, advanced analytics, and library integration tools for researchers and educators.

How can I verify that content isn't influenced by donors?

Every contributor and reviewer must submit a conflict-of-interest disclosure. All disclosures are permanently linked to the articles they edit. Additionally, our annual transparency reports detail all funding sources and their allocation, subject to quarterly independent audits.
