Aevum Encyclopedia Style Manual
This document defines the visual, typographic, and communicative standards for Aevum Encyclopedia. It ensures consistency across all digital products, marketing materials, and partner collaborations.
Precision
Every pixel, word, and interaction must convey accuracy and intellectual rigor. We avoid decorative excess in favor of clarity.
Accessibility
Knowledge is universal. Our design prioritizes readability, contrast, and inclusive navigation for all users.
Evolution
Like knowledge itself, our brand adapts. We maintain core identity while embracing modern, forward-thinking design.
Logo Usage
The Aevum Encyclopedia logo consists of a geometric mark and logotype. Maintain clear space, correct proportions, and approved color treatments.
Approved Variations
Clear Space & Minimum Size
Maintain a minimum clear space equal to 1.5x the height of the 'A' in the logotype on all sides.
Digital: 120px width
Print: 25mm width
Never scale below these dimensions. Legibility and brand recognition will be compromised.
Incorrect Usage
Never distort, skew, or alter aspect ratios. The logo must retain its geometric integrity.
Unauthorized color variations are prohibited. Use only approved palette combinations.
No drop shadows, glows, strokes, or textures may be applied to the logo mark.
Avoid complex backgrounds. Ensure sufficient contrast and breathing room.
Color Palette
Our color system balances academic authority with modern energy. Use these tokens consistently across all interfaces and materials.

Semantic Colors
Typography
We use a dual-typeface system: Playfair Display for editorial headings and Inter for interface/body text. JetBrains Mono supports code and technical references.
UI Components
Standardized elements ensure consistency across web, mobile, and partner integrations. Always use the documented tokens and states.
Buttons
Primary: Main conversions. Secondary: Alternative actions. Ghost: Tertiary/inline navigation. All buttons support :hover, :active, and :focus-visible states.
Inputs & Form Elements
Cards
A rapidly advancing field leveraging quantum mechanical phenomena such as superposition and entanglement to process information in fundamentally new ways.
Voice & Tone
Our voice is authoritative yet approachable. We prioritize clarity over complexity, and precision over persuasion.
Authoritative, Not Arrogant
Present facts confidently. Cite sources. Avoid absolute claims unless universally accepted.

We know this is the absolute truth. No one can prove us wrong.
Precise, Not Pedantic

Non-local correlations manifest instantaneously across spatially separated quantum systems.
Inclusive, Not Vague
Acknowledge multiple perspectives. Avoid cultural bias or exclusionary language.
Historical accounts vary across regions. This entry synthesizes documented sources.
Everyone agrees on this timeline. There's no real debate here.
