Disclosure & Editorial Standards

Our binding commitment to transparency, independence, and journalistic integrity. These standards govern all content published across the Aevum News network.

01

Advertising & Native Content Disclosure

Aevum News maintains an impenetrable firewall between commercial operations and editorial content. Readers must never be confused about the source, intent, or funding of any material on our platform.

Standard: All sponsored content, native advertising, and promotional partnerships are explicitly labeled as "Sponsored", "Partner Content", or "Advertisement" using standardized visual badges placed directly above the headline and within the first paragraph.

02

Editorial Independence & Conflict of Interest

Journalistic independence is the foundation of Aevum News. Our reporters and editors make decisions based solely on newsworthiness and public interest, free from corporate, political, or personal pressure.

03

Sourcing, Verification & Fact-Checking

Accuracy is non-negotiable. Every piece of information published by Aevum News undergoes rigorous verification protocols before reaching readers.

Standard: We adhere to a minimum two-source verification rule for all factual claims in news reporting. Anonymous sources are only utilized when necessary for safety or when information cannot be obtained otherwise, requiring senior editorial sign-off.

04

Corrections & Retractions Policy

Mistakes happen, but how we respond defines our integrity. Aevum News maintains a transparent, public record of all substantive corrections.

05

Use of AI & Automated Reporting

As technology evolves, so do our disclosure practices. Aevum News leverages AI tools for operational efficiency but maintains strict human oversight over all published content.

Standard: Any article, headline, image, or analysis generated or substantially edited by artificial intelligence is clearly disclosed to readers. AI is never used to fabricate sources, quotes, data, or journalistic bylines.

06

Data Transparency & Reader Privacy

We respect reader privacy while maintaining transparency about how we operate. Our data practices align with GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy frameworks.

07
