Aevum News (“we,” “our,” or “the Company”) operates the Aevum News website and all associated platforms (collectively, the “Service”). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same.

Counter-Notice Process

Our designated DMCA agent will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant and inform them that we will reinstate the removed content within ten (10) business days. If the complainant does not file a court action within that period, we will restore the content.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Aevum News adheres to the DMCA's requirement that we adopt and reasonably implement a policy for terminating the accounts or access of repeat infringers. We take intellectual property rights seriously, and users who are determined to be repeat infringers may be subject to termination of their access to the Service without warning.

In determining whether a user qualifies as a repeat infringer, we will consider factors including but not limited to:

• The number and severity of DMCA notices previously received involving the user.
• The user's history of alleged copyright violations.
• Any pattern of abusive or frivolous takedown notices issued by the complainant.
• Other relevant circumstances.

Counter-Notice Abusiveness

Aevum News reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against any party that submits a fraudulent or bad-faith counter-notice. We do not tolerate the misuse of our DMCA process to silence legitimate criticism, fair use, or lawful content.

Fair Use

The Material available on our Service may contain copyrighted material the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. We make such material available in an effort to advance understanding of issues of significant public interest.

We believe this constitutes a “fair use” of any such copyrighted material as provided for in 17 U.S.C. § 107.
