Our Mission & Editorial Integrity
Aevum News operates under a strict code of journalistic ethics. We exist to deliver verified, context-rich reporting that empowers readers to understand the world with clarity and precision.
Core Editorial Principles
Every story published under the Aevum News imprint adheres to a unified framework of accountability, transparency, and intellectual rigor.
No claim is published without independent corroboration. We require a minimum of two verified sources for breaking news, and cross-reference all data against primary documents, official records, and expert testimony. Unverified tips are flagged, not published.
Our editorial board conducts quarterly audits of story framing, headline tone, and source diversity. We employ neutral language standards, contextualize statistics, and explicitly separate reporting from opinion. Op-eds and analysis are clearly labeled and physically separated from news desks.
Mistakes are corrected promptly and prominently. All corrections are logged in our public accountability ledger with timestamps, original text, and editorial rationale. We publish source methodologies for investigative pieces and allow reader questions to be addressed in follow-ups.
Aevum News is funded through reader subscriptions, institutional grants, and non-directional advertising. No advertiser, political entity, or external stakeholder influences story selection, placement, or editorial direction. Our financial disclosures are published annually.
