Meta Ads Policy
1. Policy Overview
This document outlines Aevum News's official stance on advertising through Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Meta Ads Manager). By utilizing our platform or submitting ads through Meta's ad delivery systems, advertisers agree to comply with both Meta's Advertising Standards and Aevum News's editorial integrity guidelines.
2. Permitted Advertising Content
Aevum News allows the following categories of advertisements, provided they meet Meta's standards and our editorial verification process:
- News Subscriptions & Media Partnerships: Legitimate promotions for digital subscriptions, newsletters, or premium content tiers.

4. Meta Integration & Data Practices
Aevum News utilizes Meta's advertising infrastructure for audience targeting and performance tracking. Our integration follows these protocols:
- Pixel & Conversion API: We deploy Meta pixels solely for measuring ad performance, content engagement, and subscription conversions. No personally identifiable information (PII) is shared with Meta.
- Custom Audiences: Retargeting is limited to users who have explicitly interacted with Aevum News content or opted into marketing communications.
- Ad Review Compliance: All ads pass through Meta's automated and manual review systems before deployment. Aevum News reserves the right to reject ads that fail Meta's Community Standards.
- Data Minimization: We collect only analytics necessary for reporting. User tracking adheres to GDPR, CCPA, and Meta's Data Policy frameworks.
5. Compliance & Verification Requirements
To maintain platform integrity, Aevum News requires the following for specific ad categories:
- Identity Verification: All political and issue advertisers must verify their identity through Meta's Ad Library and provide government-issued ID.
- Ad Authorization: Campaigns must be approved by an authorized media buyer registered with Aevum News.
- Ethical Review: Health, finance, and legal ads require documentation proving regulatory compliance (FDA, SEC, FTC, etc.).
- Clear Labeling: All sponsored content must display "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" per Meta's labeling guidelines.
6. Reporting & Appeals Process
We encourage readers, advertisers, and compliance officers to report policy violations. Aevum News investigates all submissions within 48 business hours.
