4. Confidentiality & Anonymity
Your identity and the details of your report will be treated with strict confidentiality. Access is limited to authorized members of the Compliance & Ethics Committee. We utilize encrypted communication channels and secure data storage compliant with international privacy standards.
Anonymous reports are fully accepted and will be investigated with the same diligence as identified submissions. While we may request follow-up information, your choice to remain anonymous will be respected throughout the process.
5. Protection Against Retaliation
Aevum News maintains a zero-tolerance policy against retaliation. Retaliation includes, but is not limited to: termination, demotion, harassment, scheduling manipulation, exclusion from assignments, or any adverse employment action.
This protection extends to:
- Individuals who submit reports in good faith
- Witnesses who provide information during investigations

- Acknowledgment: You will receive confirmation of receipt within 48 hours (where contact information is provided).
- Preliminary Review: The Compliance Office assesses the report's scope and assigns an independent investigator.
- Investigation: Facts are gathered through interviews, document review, and third-party consultation as needed.
- Findings & Action: If violations are confirmed, corrective measures, disciplinary action, or policy updates will be implemented.
- Closure: Reporters will be notified of the outcome where possible and legally permissible, while preserving investigative confidentiality.
