Notice: This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all employees, contractors, affiliates, partners, and third-party users of Aevum Zenth Conglomerate systems, networks, services, and facilities across all 400+ subsidiaries worldwide.

# 01. Scope & Applicability

This Acceptable Use Policy governs the use of all Aevum Zenth Conglomerate infrastructure, including but not limited to:

  • Corporate IT networks, cloud environments, and end-user devices
  • Industrial control systems, energy grids, and manufacturing automation
  • Aerospace telemetry, satellite uplinks, and defense communication channels
  • Healthcare information systems and patient data networks
  • Financial trading platforms, banking APIs, and payment gateways
  • Physical facilities, laboratories, data centers, and research installations

All authorized users must acknowledge and comply with this policy. Use of Aevum Zenth resources constitutes acceptance of these terms.

# 02. General Obligations

All users are expected to:

  • Use resources responsibly: Utilize Aevum Zenth systems only for authorized business purposes and approved personal use as defined by divisional policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality: Protect credentials, access tokens, and sensitive information from unauthorized disclosure.
  • Follow security protocols: Adhere to all multi-factor authentication, encryption, and access control requirements.
  • Report incidents: Immediately report any suspected security breaches, system anomalies, or policy violations through official channels.
  • Respect capacity: Avoid actions that may degrade system performance or impact other users' ability to conduct business operations.

# 03. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of access and legal action:

3.1 Unauthorized Access

  • Attempting to access systems, accounts, or data without proper authorization
  • Using compromised or shared credentials
  • Bypassing authentication mechanisms or access controls

3.2 Malicious Activity

  • Introducing malware, ransomware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Conducting unauthorized scanning, penetration testing, or exploitation
  • Launching denial-of-service attacks against Aevum Zenth or third-party systems

3.3 Data Misuse

  • Exfiltrating proprietary data, trade secrets, or confidential information
  • Using Aevum Zenth systems for unauthorized data mining or cryptocurrency mining
  • Storing or transmitting illegal content or materials

3.4 Misrepresentation

  • Spoofing identities, email addresses, or system headers
  • Impersonating Aevum Zenth personnel or the company itself
  • Misrepresenting affiliation with Aevum Zenth to third parties
Critical Warning: Violations involving critical infrastructure (energy grids, aerospace systems, healthcare data, or financial platforms) may constitute criminal offenses under international law and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

# 04. Data & Privacy

Aevum Zenth is committed to protecting personal data and complying with global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and sector-specific requirements.

  • Data Classification: Users must handle data according to its classification level (Public, Internal, Confidential, Restricted) and apply appropriate security controls.
  • Patient Data: Healthcare division personnel must comply with HIPAA and local medical privacy laws when accessing Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Financial Data: Finance division users must adhere to PCI-DSS, SOX, and banking secrecy regulations.
  • Data Retention: Follow divisional data retention schedules and dispose of data securely when no longer needed.

# 05. Security Standards

Minimum security requirements include:

  • Authentication: Multi-factor authentication (MFA) required for all privileged access and remote connections.
  • Encryption: Data must be encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3+) and at rest using AES-256 or equivalent.
  • Access Control: Principle of least privilege; access granted based on role and need-to-know.
  • Patching: Systems must receive security updates within approved timeframes (critical patches within 24 hours).
  • Endpoint Protection: All devices must run approved EDR solutions and maintain current definitions.

# 06. Division-Specific Rules

In addition to this global policy, specific divisions may enforce supplemental rules:

  • Aevum Energy & Power: Strict controls on SCADA systems, grid control networks, and fusion research data.
  • Aevum Aerospace & Defense: ITAR/EAR compliance, classified information handling, and satellite uplink security.
  • Zenth Health Sciences: Bioethics compliance, clinical trial data protection, and lab safety protocols.
  • Aevum Capital Group: Insider trading prevention, market data integrity, and transaction monitoring.
  • Aevum Robotics Labs: Physical safety interlocks, autonomous system fail-safes, and AI model governance.

Divisional policies do not override this AUP but add additional constraints as required.

# 07. Intellectual Property

Users must respect intellectual property rights:

  • Do not infringe on copyrights, patents, trademarks, or trade secrets
  • Use only licensed software and approved open-source components
  • Report IP violations or suspected piracy immediately
  • Work product created using Aevum Zenth resources is subject to company IP ownership policies

# 08. Monitoring & Auditing

Aevum Zenth reserves the right to monitor, log, and audit all use of company resources:

  • Network traffic, system access, and application usage may be logged
  • Encryption keys and decryption capabilities may be retained for lawful interception
  • Audits may be conducted without prior notice
  • Users have no expectation of privacy on company systems
Notice: Monitoring activities comply with applicable laws and employee privacy regulations. In regions with additional privacy requirements, monitoring is limited to what is legally permitted.

# 09. Violations & Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of system access
  • Disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment
  • Revocation of vendor contracts or partnership agreements
  • Legal action including civil remedies and criminal prosecution
  • Reporting to regulatory authorities as required by law

Enforcement actions are determined by severity, intent, impact, and cooperation. Users with questions about potential violations may submit confidential inquiries to the Compliance office without fear of retaliation.

# 10. Policy Updates

This AUP is reviewed annually and updated as needed to address emerging threats, regulatory changes, and business requirements. Users are responsible for staying informed of policy changes through official communications.

The latest version is always available at /acceptable-use-policy. Continued use of Aevum Zenth resources constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
