Welcome to BookEase. By accessing, browsing, or using our booking platform, website, mobile applications, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts to use our Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Platform Services & Bookings

BookEase operates as an intermediary platform connecting users with service providers. We facilitate the booking, scheduling, and payment process but do not directly provide the underlying services (e.g., salon appointments, medical consultations, restaurant reservations). You acknowledge that the quality, accuracy, and availability of third-party services are solely the responsibility of the respective service providers.

3. Payments, Pricing & Refunds

• All pricing displayed on the platform is indicative and subject to confirmation by the service provider at the time of booking.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment gateway. Transaction fees may apply as disclosed during checkout.
• Refund policies vary by service provider. BookEase may facilitate refund requests, but approval and processing remain at the discretion of the provider unless otherwise required by applicable law.

4. Cancellation & Modification Policy

You may modify or cancel bookings subject to the cancellation policy specified by the service provider. BookEase strongly recommends reviewing the provider's terms before confirming a reservation. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to fees or non-refundable charges, depending on the provider's policy.

5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: misrepresenting your identity, attempting to interfere with platform security, scraping or automating access, booking services for resale, or using the platform to harass or harm others. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and interface elements on the BookEase platform are owned by or licensed to BookEase. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal or legitimate business purposes. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

BookEase provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookEase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to service failures, booking errors, third-party misconduct, or data breaches. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BookEase is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, unless mandatory local consumer laws require court proceedings.

9. Modifications to These Terms

BookEase reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice at least 30 days prior to implementation. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
