Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure
What types of cloud hosting does CloudNexus offer?
CloudNexus provides a complete stack: Virtual Private Servers (VPS), Dedicated Cloud Servers, Bare Metal instances, and Container-as-a-Service (Kubernetes & Docker). All instances run on NVMe-backed storage with dedicated CPU/RAM allocations and instant deployment via our console, CLI, or API.
How do I deploy my application or server?
You can provision infrastructure in under 30 seconds through our web dashboard, Terraform provider, REST API, or CLI. We support custom ISOs, cloud-init scripts, 1-click apps (WordPress, Node.js, Python, etc.), and direct image imports from AWS/GCP registries.
What happens if my server experiences an outage?
CloudNexus guarantees 99.999% uptime backed by our SLA. Our infrastructure includes redundant power, networking, and storage. If a hardware issue occurs, live migration spins up a replacement instance automatically. Managed backups and disaster recovery plans ensure zero data loss.
Pricing & Billing
Are there any hidden fees or surprise charges?
Absolutely not. All pricing is transparent and usage-based. You only pay for what you provision. Bandwidth, backups, and snapshots have clear per-GB rates listed in our pricing calculator. Overage alerts notify you before any additional charges apply.
Do you offer free trials or startup credits?
Yes! Every new account receives $200 in free credits valid for 60 days, no credit card required. For eligible startups and open-source projects, we offer up to $10,000 in annual credits through our CloudNexus Partner Program.
How does billing and invoicing work?
We support hourly billing with monthly aggregation. Invoices are generated on the 1st of each month and available for download in PDF or CSV. We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and wire transfers. Enterprise customers can opt for NET-30 or dedicated account management.
Security & Compliance
Is my data encrypted at rest and in transit?
Yes. All data in transit uses TLS 1.3 with HSTS enforcement. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 with customer-managed or CloudNexus-managed keys (CMK/KMS). We support zero-trust networking and private VPC peering for isolated environments.
What compliance standards does CloudNexus meet?
We are fully SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliant. Our infrastructure supports HIPAA-ready configurations, PCI DSS Level 1 environments, and FedRAMP Moderate pathways. Compliance reports and audit logs are available 24/7 in the dashboard.
How does DDoS protection work?
All plans include always-on DDoS mitigation with up to 10 Tbps scrubbing capacity. Our intelligent traffic analysis filters volumetric, protocol, and application-layer attacks without impacting legitimate traffic. Enterprise plans add AI-driven threat hunting and dedicated IP reputation management.
Kubernetes & Global CDN
Do you offer managed Kubernetes?
Yes, CloudNexus provides fully managed Kubernetes (k8s 1.28+) with auto-scaling node pools, integrated service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), Helm registry, and GitOps CI/CD pipelines. Control plane management, patching, and backups are handled automatically.
How many edge locations does your CDN have?
Our global CDN operates across 300+ edge locations in 50+ regions. It supports automatic cache invalidation, WebSockets, streaming optimization, and origin shielding. Real-time analytics and log streaming are available via our dashboard or SIEM integrations.
Can I use my own custom domain?
Absolutely. You can map custom domains to any service. We provide automatic DNS configuration, wildcard SSL certificates (Let's Encrypt & commercial CA), and HTTP/2 & HTTP/3 support. Domain ownership remains 100% with you at all times.
Support & SLA
What is your support response time?
Support is available 24/7/365 via live chat, email, and ticketing. Starter plans receive response within 2 hours. Professional plans get <15 minute response times. Enterprise customers enjoy <5 minute response with a dedicated technical account manager and phone support.
Do you offer migration assistance?
Yes. Professional and Enterprise plans include free migration support with dedicated engineers who handle data transfer, DNS cutover, and validation. Starter users can leverage our open-source migration toolkit and step-by-step guides for self-service transitions.
How can I contact support directly?
Visit the support portal in your dashboard, email support@cloudnexus.io, or use the live chat widget available on every page. Enterprise customers also receive a direct phone line and Slack integration for real-time incident management.
