At CloudNexus, we are committed to complete transparency regarding the third-party services, technologies, and vendors we engage with to deliver our cloud infrastructure and hosting solutions. This document outlines the categories of third-party partners we work with, the purposes of data sharing, and how we ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
1. Third-Party Service Providers & Partners
We carefully vet and contract with third-party vendors to supplement our infrastructure, enhance security, and improve customer experience. The following table summarizes our primary service categories and associated providers:
| Service Category | Provider(s) | Purpose & Data Processed |
|---|---|---|
| Global CDN & Edge Security | Cloudflare, Akamai | Content delivery, DDoS mitigation, SSL termination. Processes IP addresses, request logs, and cache headers. |
| Payment Processing | Stripe, PayPal | Secure billing, subscription management, and fraud detection. Processes billing emails, billing addresses, and tokenized payment data. |
| Infrastructure & Compute Partners | AWS (for specific regional fallback), Google Cloud | Disaster recovery, multi-region redundancy, and specialized AI workloads. Processes encrypted customer data under strict DPA terms. |
| Monitoring & Observability | Datadog, PagerDuty | System health tracking, incident management, and performance analytics. Processes anonymized telemetry, server metrics, and alert logs. |
| Customer Support & Communication | Intercom, SendGrid, Twilio | Help desk, email notifications, and SMS alerts. Processes contact information, ticket history, and communication preferences. |
All vendors are bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and Security Addendums that align with GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001 standards. We conduct regular third-party risk assessments and audit compliance annually.
2. Analytics & Tracking Technologies
We use limited, privacy-focused analytics to understand platform usage and optimize infrastructure performance. We do not sell user data or participate in cross-site behavioral advertising.
- Plausible Analytics: Lightweight, cookie-free web analytics that aggregates traffic data without tracking individual users or storing personal identifiers.
- Internal Performance Monitoring: Collects server response times, API usage patterns, and deployment frequencies to improve our SLOs. All telemetry is hashed and aggregated.
- Consent Management: You may manage or withdraw consent for non-essential cookies through our Cookie Preference Center.
3. Third-Party Links & External Services
Our documentation, dashboard, and support portals may contain links to external websites, developer tools, or integration marketplaces (e.g., Terraform Registry, Docker Hub, npm). CloudNexus does not control the privacy practices, security standards, or content of these third-party destinations. We encourage users to review the respective privacy policies of any external service before linking accounts or sharing credentials.
Security Note: Never share your CloudNexus API keys or SSH credentials with third-party applications. All official integrations are verified and listed in our Approved Partners Directory.
4. User Rights & Data Portability
Under applicable data protection laws, you retain the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data processed by CloudNexus or its vendors.
- Request export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object to processing for legitimate interests or direct marketing.
- File a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.
To exercise these rights, or to request a detailed data mapping report for our third-party processors, please contact our Data Protection Officer using the information below.
