Bagasse Packaging FAQ

Everything your operations team needs to know before switching.

Yes. Our molded bagasse containers are tested to withstand microwave heating up to 120ยฐC (248ยฐF) without warping, leaching, or losing structural integrity. We recommend removing lids before heating and limiting sessions to 3โ€“4 minutes for optimal performance.

Unlike plastic, bagasse is fully compostable and contains no microplastics. Compared to traditional paper, it's naturally grease-resistant without chemical coatings and maintains strength when exposed to hot or oily foods. It offers the durability of styrofoam with the eco-credentials of fiber.
