About Marco
I grew up in a small trattoria in Trastevere, watching my nonna knead dough by hand and slow-simmer sauces for hours. Cooking isn't just a hobby for meβit's a language. Every recipe I share carries a piece of my family's history and my journey as a home cook.
I focus on authentic, regional Italian cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and traditional techniques. I'm always happy to answer questions about substitutions, dough hydration, or where to find the best pecorino.
When I'm not in the kitchen, you'll find me foraging for wild herbs in the Tuscan hills, visiting local markets, or teaching weekend pasta-making workshops in Rome.
