Core Responsibilities
🤝 Honesty & Transparency
Therapy relies on trust. Your openness allows your therapist to provide effective care.
- Provide accurate personal, medical, and psychological history.
- Communicate honestly about your current symptoms, feelings, and behaviors.
- Inform your therapist if you are taking medications or seeing other providers.
- Notify us immediately if any personal information changes.
⏱️ Attendance & Punctuality
Consistency is key to therapeutic progress. We ask that you honor your scheduled time.
- Log in or arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled session.
- Provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Understand that late arrivals may result in shortened session times.
- Recurring no-shows or late cancellations may incur a fee per our policy.
🔒 Confidentiality & Privacy
While we protect your privacy, you also have a role in maintaining security.
- Keep your account login credentials secure and private.
- Participate in sessions from a private location where you cannot be overheard.
- Do not record audio or video of sessions without explicit consent.
- Respect the confidentiality of your therapist and other clients.
💻 Technology Requirements
For online therapy, you must ensure your technology supports a secure connection.
- Use a stable internet connection to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure your device has working audio and video capabilities.
- Update your browser or app to the latest version.
- Notify support immediately if you experience technical difficulties.
💳 Financial Responsibilities
Please review our billing policies to avoid unexpected charges.
- Keep your payment method current and valid.
- Understand that copays or session fees are due at the time of service.
- Contact billing support if you have insurance questions or disputes.
- Review the sliding scale policy if you qualify for income-based pricing.
🛡️ Conduct & Safety

- Treat therapists and staff with respect and professionalism.
- Refrain from harassment, threats, or abusive language.
- Immediately report any safety concerns or threats of violence.
- Understand that severe violations may result in termination of services.
