Section 7 now explicitly states that all approved brand names and intellectual property developed under paid engagements transfer fully to the client upon final payment, with Isdomain retaining no ownership claims.
Clarified that while Isdomain facilitates domain registration and renewal, we do not guarantee perpetual availability due to registrar policies or regulatory changes. Added explicit renewal notice timelines.
Revised Section 5 to introduce a 14-day cooling-off period for new projects. Refunds are now prorated based on work completed and explicitly exclude domain registration fees already processed by third parties.
Added a dedicated subsection acknowledging the use of AI-assisted tools for preliminary name generation. All AI outputs are curated, vetted, and validated by human consultants before delivery.
Updated Section 8 to disclose partnerships with vetted legal firms for trademark filing and entity formation. Clients can opt-out and hire independent counsel if preferred.
Section 6 now specifies that Isdomain may anonymize project case studies for portfolio use, but will never share client data without explicit written consent.
Defined explicit response windows for client communications (24h standard, 4h priority/enterprise). Added escalation protocols for urgent legal or trademark deadlines.
Replaced litigation-first language with mandatory mediation followed by binding arbitration. Reduced legal friction and costs for both parties.
Section 5 now requires explicit opt-in for auto-renewal. All recurring plans include 30-day advance cancellation windows with prorated refunds if applicable.
Expanded force majeure to include cyber incidents, regulatory shutdowns, and critical third-party platform failures. Added service credit provisions for extended outages.
Added explicit prohibitions against using Isdomain services for deceptive branding, trademark squatting, or illegal business activities. Violations may result in immediate termination.
Capped liability at 12 months of fees paid. Explicitly excluded consequential, indirect, or punitive damages while preserving core service warranties.
Updated from Delaware to California state law, reflecting our primary operational jurisdiction. All disputes will be resolved in San Francisco County courts or designated arbitration venues.
