Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to RankForge. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our search engine optimization services and any related agreements. By engaging RankForge for SEO strategy, consulting, or implementation, you ("Client") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Your engagement with RankForge constitutes full acceptance of these Terms, including any future amendments. All services will commence only upon explicit acceptance via the form provided at the bottom of this page. Digital signatures and electronic records generated through this platform are legally binding under applicable e-signature laws.

3. Scope of Services

RankForge provides data-driven SEO strategy, technical audits, content optimization, link building, and performance reporting. Services are customized per engagement and outlined in separate Statements of Work (SOW). We do not guarantee specific search rankings, as organic results are influenced by third-party algorithms and market conditions beyond our control.

4. Payment & Billing

• All fees are billed monthly or per agreed milestones, unless otherwise stated in the SOW.
• Invoices are due within 15 days of receipt. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge.
• Services may be paused if payment is overdue by more than 30 days.
• All fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in a refund policy addendum.

5. Client Obligations

To ensure successful service delivery, the Client agrees to:

• Provide timely access to all necessary platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, CMS, hosting, etc.).
• Assign a primary point of contact for approvals and feedback.
• Provide accurate business information, target audiences, and compliance requirements.
• Respond to requests and review deliverables within 5 business days.

6. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

RankForge retains ownership of all proprietary methodologies, tools, and pre-existing materials. Client-specific assets, reports, and custom content created during the engagement will be assigned to the Client upon full payment. Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding business strategies, technical data, and proprietary information shared during the engagement.

7. Performance & Disclaimers

SEO is a long-term growth discipline. While RankForge employs industry-best practices and white-hat methodologies, we cannot guarantee specific keyword positions, traffic volumes, or conversion rates due to factors including algorithm updates, competitor actions, and website technical debt. We commit to transparency, regular reporting, and continuous optimization.

8. Termination & Refunds

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, RankForge will deliver all completed work and access credentials. Pro-rated refunds may be issued for unused service periods, subject to deduction of non-recoverable costs. Immediate termination for material breach applies without refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RankForge's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client in the 90 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or revenue, arising from service use or interruption.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled via binding arbitration in San Francisco, CA, in accordance with AAA rules.
