Expedition Overview

The Avian Trails Expedition is engineered for immersive wildlife observation. Over five days, you'll traverse three distinct ecological zones, each hosting specialized avian communities. Our lead ornithologists provide real-time identification, behavioral analysis, and vocalization matching using professional field equipment.

This itinerary balances structured observation blocks with free exploration time. All optical gear is provided, though personal binoculars are welcome. Meals are locally sourced, vegetarian-friendly, and timed to align with peak bird activity windows (dawn chorus and late afternoon).

Key Objectives

  • Identify 60+ species across 3 biomes
  • Master field identification techniques (plumage, silhouette, call)
  • Document sightings using standardized eBird protocols
  • Understand conservation challenges and local mitigation efforts
