Verdantix aligns all sustainability reporting and client disclosures with leading global frameworks to ensure accuracy, comparability, and accountability.

All client sustainability reports generated through our Carbon Analytics Platform are structured to comply with these frameworks. Third-party verification is offered upon request through accredited assurance providers.

3. Data Sharing Principles

We operate under a strict data governance model that prioritizes security, consent, and purpose limitation. Key principles include:

• Explicit Consent: Data is only shared with clients, partners, or regulators when explicit authorization has been granted via our data processing agreements.
• Anonymization & Aggregation: Environmental and operational data shared in public benchmarks or industry reports is fully anonymized and aggregated to protect client confidentiality.
• Minimal Necessary Sharing: We follow the principle of data minimization—only collecting and sharing what is strictly required for project execution, compliance, or reporting.
• Secure Transmission: All data transfers utilize AES-256 encryption, TLS 1.3 protocols, and role-based access controls.

4. Client & Partner Data Handling

Verdantix treats all client operational, energy consumption, and carbon footprint data as highly confidential. We do not sell, lease, or monetize client data under any circumstances.

When integrating with third-party energy providers, smart grid operators, or municipal sustainability portals, we require:

• Execution of mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Clear data retention and deletion schedules
• Audit rights to verify compliance with this policy
• GDPR, CCPA, and ISO 27001 alignment where applicable

5. Public Reporting & Corporate Disclosure

Verdantix publishes an annual Sustainability & Impact Report detailing our own carbon footprint, supply chain emissions, renewable energy usage, and community investment initiatives. This report undergoes limited assurance review by an independent third party.

We also maintain a live, public-facing Impact Dashboard that tracks:

• Cumulatively deployed clean energy capacity (MW)
• Total CO₂e avoided across all client projects
• Water conservation metrics from green building deployments
• Supply chain decarbonization progress

Aggregated, anonymized performance data may be used for industry research, policy advocacy, or academic partnerships, always with clear attribution guidelines and prior notification to stakeholders.

6. Regulatory Compliance & Updates

This policy is designed to comply with:

• EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
• SEC Climate Disclosure Rules (where applicable)
• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) & California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
