1990 Web Archive, Inc. retains exclusive copyright over all original interface design, archival metadata schemas, crawling software, analytical dashboards, and proprietary documentation published on this platform. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of these assets is strictly prohibited.
Trademark Usage
The following marks are registered and unregistered trademarks of 1990 Web Archive, Inc.:
- 1990 Web Archive, 1990WA, and the accompanying terminal-style logo
- "Preserving the Dawn of the Internet" (service slogan)
- ArchiveGrid, RetroRender, and NeoCrawler (software trademarks)
These trademarks may not be used, adapted, or displayed in connection with any product, service, or publication without prior written consent. Educational and journalistic references are permitted under standard fair use guidelines.
Permitted Use & Licensing
We encourage scholarly, educational, and cultural preservation use of our archive. The following use cases are explicitly permitted:
- Non-commercial academic research and citation
- Classroom instruction and digital literacy programs
- Journalistic reporting and documentary production
- Museum and library exhibition (with attribution)
Commercial use, API reselling, bulk data harvesting, or integration into competing archival services requires a formal licensing agreement. Institutional and enterprise licenses are available through our partnerships team.
