Common Questions

Is there a cost to become a partner?
No. Partnership is free for academic, non-profit, and community organizations. Corporate enterprise tiers may involve revenue-sharing or service agreements based on scale.
What kind of data or resources can I contribute?
Anything from raw HTML dumps, server logs, design assets, and metadata to computing resources, archival expertise, and grant funding. We accept both digital and physical media for digitization.
How do you handle copyright and licensing?
All contributed materials are processed under a Digital Preservation Accord that respects original copyright. We use cryptographic hashing for verification and provide clear attribution frameworks.
Can I request specific URLs or eras to be prioritized?
Yes. Partners receive a prioritization queue and can submit targeted crawling requests. Academic and research partners get expedited processing for time-sensitive projects.
