Why We Preserve Personal Pages

Before social media, the web was a canvas for individual expression. Personal homepages were digital bedrooms, bulletin boards, and creative studios rolled into one. They documented hobbies, relationships, and the early internet culture in its rawest form.

Without systematic preservation, over 180 million personal pages vanished when hosting platforms shut down or deprecated old protocols. Our archive restores them using period-accurate rendering engines and cryptographic verification.
