Attribution Requirements
Official guidelines for citing, crediting, and reusing content from Aevum Encyclopedia.
1. Mandatory Attribution Format
When reproducing, adapting, or referencing any article, dataset, or media from Aevum Encyclopedia, you must include the following four elements:
- Title: The exact title of the article or resource.
- Author/Contributor: The primary author or "Aevum Encyclopedia Contributors" if multiple.
- Source: A direct hyperlink to the original URL on aevum-encyclopedia.com.
- License: CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with a link to the license deed.
2. Standard Citation Styles
For academic or formal publications, use the following templates:
APA (7th Edition)
Author, A. A. (Year, Month Day). Article title. Aevum Encyclopedia. URL
MLA (9th Edition)
"Article Title." Aevum Encyclopedia, Day Month Year, URL. Accessed Day Month Year.
Chicago (Notes)
Author Firstname, "Article Title," Aevum Encyclopedia, last modified Month Day, Year, URL.
3. Commercial Use & Modified Works

Commercial licensing, bulk reproduction, or API integration requires prior written authorization from Aevum Media Group. Unauthorized commercial redistribution is strictly prohibited and subject to legal enforcement.
4. Contributor & Third-Party Credits
Aevum Encyclopedia maintains strict provenance tracking. If an article contains:
- Original research or interviews: Credit must extend to the primary researcher or interviewee.
- Third-party images/media: Must retain original copyright notices and license terms embedded in the metadata.
- Public domain materials: May be used freely but should note "Public Domain" or "PD-Art" where applicable.
Do not remove, obscure, or alter embedded attribution tags, license markers, or contributor footers in any reproduced content.
5. Brand & Trademark Guidelines
The name "Aevum Encyclopedia," the AE logo, and all associated trade dress are registered trademarks of Aevum Media Group. When attributing content:
- Use the official logo only in its provided vector formats.
- Do not modify colors, spacing, or proportions.
- Do not imply endorsement or affiliation without prior written consent.
