Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about joining Aevum's career formation programs.

Do I need a degree to apply? +

No. While some programs like the Research Fellowship prefer applicants with graduate-level education, the Junior Contributor Apprenticeship and Localization Program are open to anyone with a genuine passion for knowledge and learning. We value curiosity and dedication over formal credentials.

Are these programs paid? +

Yes. Apprenticeships and localization programs include a monthly stipend. The AI Engineering Track and Research Fellowship provide competitive salaries and fellowships, respectively. We believe learning should never come at personal financial cost.

Can I participate remotely from anywhere? +

Most of our programs are fully remote and available globally. The AI Engineering Track has an on-site component in our Berlin office, but we offer relocation support for selected participants. Hybrid options are also available for select research fellowships.

What happens after I complete a program? +

94% of our graduates transition into full-time roles within Aevum or partner organizations. You'll receive a verified digital credential, a portfolio of published work, and continued access to our learning resources. Many alumni go on to leadership roles across academia, tech, and media.

When are the application deadlines? +

We run two cohorts per year: Spring (applications close January 31) and Fall (applications close July 31). The Localization Program rolls out quarterly. We encourage early applications as spots are limited and competitive.

Is there age restriction? +

No minimum or maximum age. Our programs welcome participants from 18 years old through seasoned professionals seeking a career change. The Junior Contributor Apprenticeship is particularly popular with high school graduates and young university students, while fellowships attract mid-career changers and academics.
