Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, you'll be prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
After your 14-day trial, your Insider subscription will automatically activate and you'll be charged the monthly or annual rate you selected. You can cancel anytime during the trial period and won't be charged. No credit card is required to start.
Annual billing saves you approximately 20% compared to monthly billing. For the Insider plan, that's $12/month when billed annually ($144/year) versus $15/month on a month-to-month basis. All plans include the same features regardless of billing frequency.
The free Reader plan allows you to read 5 full articles per day. You can still view all headlines, summaries, and breaking news alerts. The counter resets at midnight (your local time). Popular and trending articles are always free.
Insider subscriptions are for individual use. The Authority plan includes team management for up to 25 seats. For family sharing, we offer a Family bundle at $19/month that supports up to 5 individual accounts. Contact support for details.
The Authority plan's API access includes RESTful endpoints for all articles, metadata, categories, and search functionality. You get 100,000 API calls per month with JSON response format, webhook support for breaking news, and dedicated documentation. Rate limits and extended packages are available upon request.
