Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about press credentials, pool access, and media accreditation.

How long does credential processing take? +
Standard credential applications are processed within 3-5 business days. Urgent requests for imminent events may be expedited β€” contact the Press Pool Coordinator directly with your event details and timeline. Re-accreditation for returning members is typically processed within 1-2 business days.
What documentation do I need to submit? +
All applicants must submit: (1) a valid government-issued photo ID, (2) a valid press card or press license from a recognized press association, or (3) a letter of assignment on official news outlet letterhead signed by the editor-in-chief or media relations director. Freelancers must provide three recent published works.
Are credentials valid for multiple events? +
Full Press Pass credentials are valid for the entire calendar year (January through December). Daily Press Pool credentials are valid for single-day access only. Photography and Broadcast credentials may include multi-day validity β€” see your approval email for specific terms.
Can I transfer my credential to another journalist? +
No. All Aevum News credentials are strictly non-transferable and tied to the individual named on the application. If you cannot attend an event, please notify the Press Pool Coordinator so your spot can be offered to the next person on the waitlist. Violation of this policy results in permanent revocation.
What parking arrangements are available? +
Full credential holders receive parking access at Tower D Parking Garage, Level B2 (space #P001-P120). A valid parking tag will be mailed with your credential package. Daily press pass holders may use the visitor lot adjacent to Tower C entrance. All other visitors must use public transit.
How do I report a lost or stolen credential? +
Immediately contact Security at (555) 019-8844 and email Ahmed Torres at atorres@aevumnews.com. Your credential will be deactivated within 30 minutes of the report. A replacement credential can be issued at the Media Relations desk with a valid photo ID and a $25 replacement fee.
