Data Subject Rights
Your rights regarding the processing of your personal data by Aevum Zenth Conglomerate and its 400+ subsidiaries worldwide.
Overview of Your Rights
Under applicable data protection legislation, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other regional frameworks, individuals possess specific rights concerning their personal data. Aevum Zenth Conglomerate is committed to honoring these rights across all business divisions, from Energy & Power to Digital Systems, Aerospace, and Healthcare.
Note: While these rights are generally absolute, certain limitations may apply where processing is necessary for legal compliance, public interest, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Right to Access
You have the right to request confirmation as to whether Aevum Zenth processes your personal data, and if so, to receive a copy of that data along with specific details about how it is used.
Your access request will include:
- Purposes of processing
- Categories of personal data concerned
- Recipients or categories of recipients to whom the data has been disclosed
- Retention periods or criteria used to determine them
- Information about your other data subject rights
- The source of the data, where not collected directly from you
Right to Rectification
If you believe that any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected or completed. This applies across all Aevum Zenth systems, including HR databases, customer relationship platforms, and vendor management tools.
We will rectify inaccurate data without undue delay, typically within 14 business days of verification.
Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten)
You may request the deletion of your personal data where:
- The data is no longer necessary for the original purpose
- You withdraw consent and no other legal basis exists
- You object to processing and no overriding legitimate grounds apply
- The data was unlawfully processed
- Deletion is required to comply with a legal obligation
Certain exceptions apply, such as data retained for tax, accounting, or regulatory compliance purposes across our financial, real estate, and construction divisions.
Right to Restrict Processing
You may request that we temporarily halt the processing of your data while we verify its accuracy, assess your objection to processing, or determine whether our legitimate interests override your rights. During restriction, data may be stored but not actively processed except for legal claims or to protect the rights of others.
Right to Data Portability
Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (e.g., JSON or CSV). You may also request that we transmit this data directly to another controller where technically feasible.
Right to Object
You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time where processing is based on legitimate interests or public task. If processing is for direct marketing purposes, including targeted advertising across our Media & Entertainment and Financial Services divisions, your objection will be honored immediately without justification.
Rights Regarding Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal or similarly significant effects. Aevum Zenth employs algorithmic systems in credit underwriting, recruitment screening, and risk assessment. Where such systems are used, we ensure human oversight is available upon request, and meaningful information about the logic involved is provided.
