Your Rights
Data protection laws grant you specific rights regarding how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information. This page outlines those rights and explains how to exercise them.
Last updated: November 2025Right to Access
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. This includes information about how we are using it, where it came from, and who we have shared it with.
Right to Rectification
If any of your personal information is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, you have the right to have it corrected or completed. We take data accuracy seriously and will update your records promptly upon verification.
You can also update most information directly through your BookEase account settings under Profile → Personal Details.
Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten")
Under certain circumstances, you may request the deletion of your personal data. We are generally required to erase data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, when you withdraw consent, or when you object to processing.
Right to Restrict Processing
You may request that we temporarily stop processing your personal data while we verify its accuracy, resolve a dispute, or determine whether our legitimate grounds override your rights. During restriction, we will store your data but will not process it for other purposes.
Right to Data Portability
Where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You may also request that we transmit it directly to another service provider where technically feasible.
Right to Object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests or public task. We will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights, and freedoms.
You may also object at any time to processing for direct marketing purposes.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Where we process your data based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can manage your preferences via your account dashboard or by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you. BookEase does not use fully automated decision-making for bookings, pricing, or service eligibility. Any automated tools we use are assistive only and subject to human review.
