How do coaching sessions work?
Sessions take place via our integrated video platform with a live chess board. Coaches can annotate positions, share analysis boards, and assign post-session homework. All sessions are recorded (with permission) for review.
What is the refund policy?
You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a 50% fee. No-shows are charged in full.
How are coaches verified?
All coaches must provide official FIDE/USCF titles, rating history, and pass an interview with our education team. We also monitor student feedback and session quality continuously.
Can I request group lessons?
Yes! Many coaches offer group sessions for 2-4 students at a discounted rate. You can filter for "Group Lessons" in the search or contact your coach directly through their profile.
Do you support different time zones?
Absolutely. All coaches display their availability in your local time zone. Our platform supports scheduling across all major time zones with automated calendar sync.
