Quickstart Guide
Welcome to ConnectHub! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to set up your account, create your first post, and start building your community in under 5 minutes.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
- A valid email address or mobile number
- Access to the ConnectHub web app or mobile app (iOS/Android)
- At least one image or piece of content to share (optional for setup)
Step-by-Step Setup
Create Your Account
Head to connecthub.com/signup and choose your preferred registration method:
- Email: Enter your email, create a strong password, and verify via the confirmation link.
- Social Login: Connect via Google, Apple, or GitHub for instant setup.
After verification, you'll be prompted to choose a unique @username. This will be your public identifier across the platform.
Set Up Your Profile
A complete profile increases discoverability and trust. Navigate to Settings โ Profile and update:
- Display Name & Bio: Keep it concise and reflective of your niche.
- Profile & Cover Photo: Use high-resolution images (recommended: 400x400px for profile, 1500x500px for cover).
- Interests & Topics: Select at least 3 categories to personalize your AI feed.
- Privacy Settings: Toggle account visibility between Public, Followers-Only, or Private.
Make Your First Post
Click the + button in the top navigation or center of the feed:
- Compose your text (supports Markdown, links, and @mentions).
- Attach media: photos, videos (up to 1080p), or polls.
- Add relevant hashtags (max 5) to increase reach.
- Click Publish to share instantly.

Connect with Others
Social growth starts with engagement:
- Search for creators using the Discover tab.
- Follow accounts that align with your interests.
- Reply to posts, share stories, and join live streams.
- Send a direct message to start a conversation.
The platform's AI will suggest relevant connections based on your activity and selected topics.
Explore Communities
Join or create a Community Group to collaborate:
- Visit
/communitiesand browse by category. - Click Join to request access (some are public, others require approval).
- Use group-specific channels, pin important resources, and host events.
