Welcome to EduVerse. By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, online courses, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all provisions contained herein, please do not use our services.

EduVerse reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

To access certain features, you must create an account. You represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age or have parental/guardian consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate and current. EduVerse reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or exhibit suspicious activity.

3. Course Content & Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to videos, text, quizzes, code samples, slides, and proprietary methodologies, are owned by EduVerse or our licensed instructors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

License Grant: By purchasing or accessing content, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the materials solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Redistribution, recording, sharing, or commercial exploitation of course content is strictly prohibited.

4. Student Conduct & Community Guidelines

EduVerse fosters a respectful, inclusive learning environment. You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against other users, instructors, or staff.
  • Post unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate content in forums or comments.
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, bypass security measures, or disrupt Platform operations.
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your affiliation with EduVerse.

5. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

All prices are listed in USD and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. By completing a purchase, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file.

Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all individual course purchases, provided less than 30% of the content has been accessed. Subscription plans may be canceled at any time, with proration applied to the next billing cycle. Bulk/enterprise licensing is governed by separate contractual agreements.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Platform and educational content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for accuracy, EduVerse makes no representations or warranties regarding career outcomes, job placements, or income potential resulting from course completion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduVerse and its instructors, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to technical failures, data loss, or third-party content inaccuracies.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, storage, and sharing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices and authorize us to process your information in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (including GDPR and CCPA where applicable).

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to access purchased content will cease immediately. EduVerse may also suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, commit fraud, or engage in harmful conduct.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, CA, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

We may modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use after such modifications constitutes acceptance.
