  • New prescriptions require an authorization form.

⚠️ Controlled Substances

  • C-II medications cannot be refilled; a new prescription is required.
  • C-III/C-IV medications may be refilled up to 5 times within 6 months.
  • Refills must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Early refills due to loss or theft require a police report or doctor authorization.
  • Travel requests can be accommodated up to 30 days in advance.

How long does a refill take?
Most standard refills are processed and ready for pickup within 24 to 48 hours. We recommend requesting refills at least 3-5 business days before you run out to account for weekends and holidays.
Can I transfer a refill to Health?
Yes! You can transfer your prescription from another pharmacy by calling us at (800) 123-4567 or through the patient portal. Please have your old pharmacy information ready. Transfers typically take 1-2 business days.
What should I do if my prescription isn't ready?
If your medication isn't ready within 48 hours, please contact our pharmacy directly. Delays can occur due to insurance prior authorizations, manufacturer backorders, or verification needs with your doctor.
How do I request a generic substitution?
Unless your doctor specifies "Dispense as Written," we will automatically dispense the generic equivalent to save you money. If you prefer the brand name, please inform our pharmacist at the time of your refill request.
