Course Content & Intellectual Property Policy
LearnFlow is committed to respecting intellectual property rights while fostering a collaborative, innovative learning environment. This policy outlines the ownership, usage rights, and responsibilities regarding all course content, materials, and intellectual property created or hosted on our platform.
1. Ownership of Course Content
All instructional content, including but not limited to video lectures, written materials, code repositories, quizzes, assignments, illustrations, and audio recordings uploaded to LearnFlow, remains the exclusive intellectual property of the respective Instructors or Content Creators, unless otherwise explicitly stated. LearnFlow grants itself a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and reproduce such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.
2. Third-Party & Licensed Materials
Some courses may incorporate third-party resources, open-source libraries, public domain assets, or materials licensed under Creative Commons or other frameworks. Instructors are required to:
- Properly attribute all third-party content in accordance with applicable licenses.
- Ensure compliance with copyright, trademark, and right-of-publicity laws.
- Restrict usage to educational, non-commercial purposes unless explicit commercial rights are granted.
3. Student Usage Rights & Restrictions
Enrolled students are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access, view, and interact with course materials for the duration of their enrollment. This license includes:
- Watching lectures, downloading permitted resources, and completing assignments.
- Using knowledge and skills acquired for personal, academic, or professional development.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Recording, streaming, or redistributing course videos or materials.
- Selling, licensing, or sharing paid access credentials with third parties.
- Using automated tools to scrape, download, or archive course content.
- Repurposing instructor materials for commercial resale or public distribution.
4. Instructor-Generated IP & Platform Rights
Instructors retain full ownership of their original course content. However, by publishing on LearnFlow, instructors acknowledge that:
- LearnFlow may use anonymized learning analytics to improve platform features.
- Testimonials, course previews, and promotional snippets may be used for marketing purposes.
- Instructors warrant that their content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights.

Violations of this policy may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of user/instructor accounts.
- Removal of infringing content without prior notice.
- Forfeiture of refunds or revenue payouts in cases of gross misuse.
- Legal action where applicable under copyright or contract law.
7. Copyright Infringement & DMCA Takedown Procedure
If you believe your intellectual property rights have been violated on LearnFlow, please submit a formal notice to our Copyright Agent at copyright@learnflow.com containing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- A description of the infringing material and its location on our platform.
- Your contact information (email, address, phone).
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate.
LearnFlow will respond to valid notices promptly and comply with applicable digital copyright laws, including the DMCA (US) and equivalent international frameworks.
8. Policy Updates
LearnFlow reserves the right to modify this policy as technology, platform features, or legal requirements evolve. Users will be notified of material changes via email or platform announcement. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
