Are pre-existing conditions covered?

Pre-existing conditions are generally not covered. However, if a condition goes into remission for 12+ months and your pet shows no symptoms, it may become eligible for coverage.

What is the waiting period?

Illness coverage has a 14-day waiting period. Accident coverage starts immediately upon policy activation. Hereditary conditions have a 30-day waiting period.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time during your policy term. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Is there an age limit?

You can enroll pets up to 9 years old. Senior pets may qualify for age-specific plans with adjusted deductibles and reimbursement rates.

How does reimbursement work?

After you meet your deductible, we reimburse the agreed percentage (80%, 90%, or 95%) of eligible veterinary costs up to your annual limit.
