Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our veterinary services.

What should I bring to the first appointment?
Please bring any previous medical records, vaccination history, a list of current medications, and your pet's preferred carrier or leash. If your pet has a dietary restriction or favorite toy, those can help reduce stress.
Do you accept pet insurance?
Yes! We work with all major pet insurance providers. We can provide detailed invoices and medical documentation to help you file claims. Our staff can also advise on pre-authorization requirements.
How do I know if it's an emergency?
If your pet is having difficulty breathing, has ingested a toxin, is unresponsive, has severe bleeding, or is in obvious distress, call our emergency line immediately. When in doubt, it's always better to err on the side of caution.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations to allow other pets to be scheduled. Frequent late cancellations may result in a fee. Emergency cancellations due to illness are understood.
Are telemedicine visits covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by provider. Many insurers now cover virtual consultations. We recommend checking with your specific policy. We offer competitive flat-rate pricing for telehealth visits regardless of insurance.
