Access & Security

Providing Access

  • Ensure gates, doors, and gates are unlocked if you are not present.
  • Provide clear gate codes or instructions via the client portal.
  • If leaving a key, please provide a secure location (lockbox, neighbor, doormat).
  • Disable any alarm systems or provide deactivation instructions.

Security Protocol

  • All team members are background-checked and insured.
  • We will re-secure all entry points upon completion.
  • Changes to access codes should be updated in your portal 24 hours in advance.

Pet Safety & Precautions

Your pets' safety is our priority. While many of our cleaners are pet-friendly, we request the following:

  • Secure Aggressive Pets: Please confine any pets that may be aggressive, anxious, or easily frightened.
  • Inform Us: Notify us via the portal if you have exotic pets, livestock, or multiple animals.
  • Accidents: Please clean up any pet waste (solid or liquid) before our arrival to ensure safe movement through your home.
  • Feeding/Walking: If you need us to feed or walk pets, please add this as a special request note (fee may apply).

Valuables & Fragile Items

Personal Valuables

  • Put away cash, jewelry, passports, and important documents.
  • While we are insured, we cannot be held responsible for lost or misplaced small items.
  • Electronics and gaming consoles should be turned off and stored safely.

Fragile & Sentimental Items

  • Clear surfaces of fragile knick-knacks, glassware, and collectibles.
  • If items must remain, please label them or indicate a "Do Not Touch" zone.
  • Photographs and family heirlooms should be secured in drawers or cabinets.

Kitchen & Refrigerator

We clean the inside of the fridge and cabinets as part of our Deep and Move specials, but client prep is essential.

  • Food Labeling: Mark any expired or questionable food with a red "Throw Away" sticker or note. Otherwise, we will not discard food.
  • Shelf Stability: Ensure all bottles and jars are standing upright and secure.
  • Dishes: Please load the dishwasher or hand-wash dishes. We do not wash dishes as part of standard cleaning.
  • Grease: Remove large grease splatters from stovetops to allow proper cleaning.

General Home Preparation

  • Floor Space: Pick up clothes, toys, and clutter from floors to allow vacuuming and mopping.
  • Lighting: Ensure hallways and rooms are not pitch black; leave lights on or ensure bulbs are working.
  • Temperature: Maintain a comfortable temperature (65Β°F–75Β°F) so our team can work safely.
  • Water Access: Ensure sinks are not clogged and water access is available.

  • Availability: Be reachable by phone in case we have questions or access issues.
  • Inspection: If you are present, please inspect the clean immediately so we can address any concerns on-site.
  • Feedback: Rate your experience and leave notes in the client portal within 24 hours.
  • Payment: Ensure your payment method on file is active to avoid service interruption.
