House Cleaning Services Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, scheduling, or using SparkleClean Pro's cleaning services (the "Services"), you (the "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SparkleClean Pro ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of Services
SparkleClean Pro provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services, including but not limited to regular maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, carpet cleaning, and specialized services as agreed upon in writing. All services are performed by trained, background-checked, and insured cleaning professionals using industry-standard equipment and eco-friendly cleaning products unless otherwise specified.
3. Booking & Scheduling
Services are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Scheduling is confirmed once payment is processed or a signed service agreement is received. We reserve the right to adjust cleaning times slightly based on traffic, weather, or emergency service calls, though we will make every effort to adhere to the agreed-upon window. Recurring clients may schedule weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly appointments through our client portal or by contacting support.
4. Pricing & Payment
Pricing is determined based on property size, service type, and frequency. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of service unless a corporate account or alternative payment arrangement has been formally approved in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and secure online payments. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge or be referred to a collection agency at our discretion.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee. Three or more late cancellations or no-shows within a 12-month period may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure safe and effective service delivery, Clients agree to:
- Provide safe, unobstructed access to all areas requiring cleaning, including utilities (water, electricity) and parking.
- Secure or clearly mark fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items. SparkleClean Pro is not liable for undamaged items that fall or break due to improper storage.
- Ensure pets are secured in a safe area or removed from the premises prior to service arrival.
- Inform our team of any known hazards (e.g., broken glass, chemical spills, structural issues) before service begins.
7. Property Damage & Liability
SparkleClean Pro maintains comprehensive liability insurance covering property damage up to $1,000,000 per incident, subject to policy terms and conditions. In the event of accidental damage caused by our team, please report it within 24 hours of service completion with photographic evidence. Claims exceeding $500 require written documentation and may be subject to our insurer's review process. We do not cover normal wear and tear, pre-existing conditions, or damage resulting from Client negligence.
8. Safety & Health
Our team follows OSHA guidelines and uses EPA-registered, eco-friendly cleaning products whenever possible. We may use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and masks. Clients with specific allergens, sensitivities, or preferred cleaning products must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. In cases of severe biohazards, mold, or asbestos, our team reserves the right to pause service and recommend certified remediation specialists.
9. Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and treat all property access with discretion. Our employees are bound by confidentiality agreements and will not disclose information about your home, belongings, or personal routines. Your contact information and service history will only be used for service delivery, billing, and quality assurance, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
SparkleClean Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We do not guarantee specific cleaning outcomes beyond industry standards and reasonable care.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in Charleston, SC, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.
12. Modifications to Terms
SparkleClean Pro reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes to pricing or service scope will be communicated directly to affected clients.
