Yes. Cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive a full refund. 14β29 days receive a 75% refund or full credit. Within 14 days, cancellations are non-refundable due to fixed logistical costs. Changes to dates are allowed subject to availability.
Each trip has a customized packing checklist sent 30 days prior. Generally, you'll need a 60β75L backpack, moisture-wicking base layers, insulated mid-layers, waterproof shell, hiking boots, sleeping bag (rated for expected temps), and personal medications. We provide tents, stoves, and group cooking equipment.
Requirements vary by expedition. Easy trails require basic walking fitness. Medium trips need 4β6 hours of daily hiking with elevation gain. Hard/expedition trips require endurance training, altitude acclimation experience, and comfort with multi-day backcountry conditions. Trip pages list exact requirements.
All guides are certified in Wilderness First Aid/First Responder. We carry satellite communicators, emergency oxygen, and med kits on every trip. Evacuation protocols are established pre-trip. All adventurers are covered by our emergency evacuation insurance. Medical costs beyond evacuation are traveler's responsibility.
Safety is our priority. If extreme weather makes conditions unsafe, we may delay or reroute. Itineraries include 1β2 buffer days for this reason. If a trip cannot proceed due to weather, we'll reschedule at no extra cost or offer a full refund. We monitor forecasts continuously.
