1 The Challenge

NexaFlow needed a unified command center that could ingest real-time data from over 12 disparate sources. Their legacy interface suffered from high cognitive load, slow load times, and poor mobile responsiveness, leading to a 35% churn rate among power users.

The core objective was clear: redesign the information architecture from the ground up, prioritize performance, and create an intuitive experience that scaled gracefully from SMB to enterprise tiers.

2 Our Approach

We adopted a human-centered, data-informed methodology. The process began with deep user interviews and heuristic evaluation of the existing platform. We mapped out critical user journeys and identified three primary friction points:

  • Fragmented data visualization lacking contextual filters
  • Non-intuitive navigation structure requiring 4+ clicks for core tasks
  • Poor performance on low-bandwidth connections

Using these insights, we architected a component-based design system and built a performant frontend layer optimized for real-time data streaming.
