How We Handle Corrections
Mistakes happen, but how we respond defines our credibility. The Daily Pulse maintains a rigorous corrections process:
- Online Articles: Corrections are made directly to the original article. A timestamped correction note is added at the bottom explaining the change. Major errors will include an editorial note at the top of the piece.
- Major Retractions: If a story contains fundamental factual errors that change its core premise, it will be retracted. A retraction notice will permanently remain on the page explaining why the story was withdrawn.
- Acknowledgment: Significant corrections are published in our weekly "Editor's Note" section and, when applicable, promoted across our social channels.
- Accountability: Corrections are logged internally and reviewed quarterly by our Editor-in-Chief to identify systemic reporting issues and improve editorial workflows.
We encourage readers to report inaccuracies. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours by a senior editor.

Conflict of Interest Disclosures
All journalists and editors must annually disclose personal, financial, or professional relationships that could perceived bias. Any active coverage involving a disclosed conflict requires recusal from the assignment. Full disclosure logs are available to the public upon request.
Advertising, Sponsored Content & Affiliate Disclosures
We maintain clear boundaries between journalism and commercial content to prevent reader confusion.
- Native & Sponsored Articles: Any content produced by or on behalf of an advertiser is clearly labeled as "Sponsored," "Paid Partnership," or "Advertisement" at the top and bottom of the piece. It is never mixed with editorial news feeds without explicit labeling.
- Product Recommendations: If our editorial team recommends a product or service, we do not accept payment or free samples for coverage. Affiliate links, when used, are disclosed in compliance with FTC guidelines.
- Retargeting & Data: We do not sell reader data to third-party advertisers. Cookies and analytics are used strictly for site functionality and aggregate traffic measurement. Privacy controls are available in our footer.
