Everything You Need to Know

Are internships paid?

Yes. All AeroVance interns receive a competitive hourly wage, housing stipend (for relocations), health coverage, and mission completion bonuses based on project impact.

Do I need a security clearance?

No. We sponsor U.S. citizenship-based clearances for defense and government-adjacent tracks. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible for commercial and satellite programs.

Can I work remotely or hybrid?

Most tracks offer hybrid models. Simulation, software, and strategy roles can be fully remote. Propulsion and avionics require on-site lab access for safety and equipment access.

Is there a full-time conversion opportunity?

Absolutely. 78% of interns receive conditional full-time offers before graduation. We also host early-talent networking events with NASA, ESA, and commercial partners.

When do applications open?

Rolling applications year-round. Spring cohort: Jan–Mar. Summer cohort: Apr–Jun. Fall cohort: Sep–Nov. We recommend applying 3–4 months ahead.
