Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about participating in our programs.

Who is eligible to apply for fellowships? +
Our fellowships are open to journalists with at least 2 years of professional experience. We prioritize applicants from underrepresented regions and those covering beats with limited media attention. All races, genders, and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Do internships provide academic credit? +
Yes. We coordinate with many journalism schools to provide academic credit. We can issue verification letters and work with faculty supervisors to ensure the internship meets your curriculum requirements.
How does the API access work? +
Developers can request a beta API key through the Open API program. Access is free for non-commercial use. Commercial usage requires a separate enterprise agreement. Documentation, SDKs, and sandbox environments are available at docs.aevum.news.
Is travel provided for community contributors? +
For the Community Voice Initiative, we cover expenses for selected contributors who need to travel for verification or follow-up reporting. Standard contributors working locally receive honorariums for published pieces.
