DMCA Compliance Policy
BrightMinds Tutoring Inc. complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respects the intellectual property rights of others. As a service provider, we respond expediently to claims of copyright infringement reported by copyright owners or their agents.
Our DMCA Process
- Receipt of Notice โ Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, our legal team reviews the claim for completeness and validity.
- Content Removal โ If the notice meets DMCA requirements, we promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notification to User โ We notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed and provide information about the counter-notice process.
- Counter-Notice โ Users who believe their content was removed in error may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(g)(2).
- Restoration โ If a valid counter-notice is filed and no legal action is commenced within 10โ14 business days, we may restore the content.
Repeat Infringer Policy
BrightMinds maintains a policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to restrict access to our services and, in our sole discretion, cancel all accounts of users who violate this policy.
