Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about CloudNexus instances.

Can I change instance size after deployment?
Yes. You can vertically scale up or down by selecting a new instance family. The instance will reboot automatically during the transition, which typically takes under 30 seconds.
Do instances come with a dedicated IP?
Every instance receives a dynamic IPv4 address by default. You can reserve static IPv4/IPv6 addresses for an additional $2/month per IP.
What operating systems are supported?
We support Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Alpine, Windows Server, and custom ISO imports. All images are optimized for performance and security.
How does billing work for compute time?
Instances are billed by the second with a 1-minute minimum. Pause or stop your instance to stop compute billing; storage and reserved IPs continue to incur minimal costs.
