Information We Collect Automatically

Like most digital services, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data to keep ConnectHub secure, functional, and optimized for your device.

  • Device & Connection Info: IP address, device type, operating system, browser/app version, unique device identifiers, and network carrier.
  • Usage Analytics: Pages visited, features used, time spent in-app, click patterns, and session frequency to improve user experience.
  • Location Data: General location based on IP address. Precise location is only collected if you explicitly enable location services for features like local events or geotagged posts.
  • Diagnostics & Logs: Crash reports, error logs, and performance metrics to maintain platform stability.

🔒 Diagnostic data is processed securely and cannot be used to identify individual users without additional context.

  • Contact Syncing: If you enable contact upload, we access your device's address book to help you reconnect with existing friends on ConnectHub. We securely hash this data and do not store raw contact lists.
  • Partner Integrations: Analytics, advertising, or payment partners may share aggregated, anonymized data about campaign performance or service reliability.

You can manage connected apps and revoke third-party access at any time through your account security settings.
