🔥 Hot Beverage Guidelines
Our hot liquid containers are engineered with double-wall insulation and advanced thermal liners to retain heat while keeping the exterior comfortable to hold.

Do not fill above the recommended fill line. Overfilling can cause lid displacement and scalding hazards. Always apply lids carefully to avoid steam burns.
- Allow freshly brewed coffee or tea to cool to 185°F before pouring for optimal insulation performance.
- Peelable sleeves can be removed after the beverage cools to 140°F.
- Do not use damaged, cracked, or punctured containers for hot liquids.
🧊 Cold Beverage Guidelines
Clear PET and plastic cold cups are designed for smoothies, iced coffee, soft drinks, and cocktails. They resist condensation and maintain structural integrity under refrigeration.
Temperature Range
Optimal between 28°F to 70°F (-2°C to 21°C). Not suitable for boiling liquids.
Carbonation Safe
Pressure-tested up to 50 PSI. Secure lids tightly to prevent fizz overflow.
Freezer Compatible
Safe for short-term freezing. Allow 10 mins to thaw before cracking ice.
Pre-chill cups for 15 minutes before dispensing cold beverages to reduce sweating and improve customer grip comfort.
🥣 Food & Bowl Usage
Takeaway bowls are engineered for hot meals, soups, salads, and dry foods. Most feature leak-resistant walls and vented lid compatibility.
- Hot Food: Suitable for temperatures up to 200°F (93°C). Use only with certified steam-vented lids.
- Acidic & Oily Foods: Liner-free bags are available for high-oil or acidic ingredients. Standard bowls may soften after 2 hours with heavy oil content.
- Stacking Limits: Do not exceed 50 stacked units without base support to prevent bottom deformation.
- Freezer Storage: Food-safe bowls can be frozen. Thaw completely before microwaving.

🎨 Custom Branded Products
Custom printed cups and bowls undergo rigorous quality checks. To preserve branding longevity and meet food-safety standards:
- Inks: We use FDA-compliant, food-safe soy & acrylic inks. Do not scrub printed areas with abrasive materials.
- Storage: Keep printed stock in a cool, dry place away from direct UV sunlight to prevent fading.
- Washing: Hand wash only. Dishwasher detergents may degrade custom coatings over time.
- Minimum Order: Custom branding requires a 5,000-unit minimum with 7–10 business day production lead time.
All custom orders include a pre-production digital proof and physical sample approval step before mass manufacturing begins.

Cup Source is committed to circular economy practices. Proper disposal ensures your products reach the right facilities.
🌿 Compostable (PLA/Bagasse)
Strip lids, place in commercial compost bins. Home composting requires 60–90 days.
📦 Recyclable (Paper/PET)
Remove plastic lids. Rinse lightly. Check local curbside acceptance codes.
🚫 Landfill (Foam/Mixed)
Polystyrene and heavily coated mixed materials should be disposed via standard waste unless specified.
Employee Training Recommendation: Place clearly labeled waste stations at point-of-sale. Color-coded bins reduce contamination rates by up to 40%.

📜 Limitations & Warranty
Cup Source stands behind the quality of its products. Our standard limited warranty covers manufacturing defects, material inconsistencies, and print errors.
- Covered: Pinholes, improper lining, color misregistration >15%, structural failures under rated temp/load.
- Not Covered: Damage from misuse, microwave abuse, dishwasher washing (unless specified), normal wear/tear, or failure to follow storage guidelines.
- Claims Process: Report defects within 14 days of delivery. Provide PO#, SKU, and photos. Replacement or credit issued within 5 business days.
